Our house was built about 200 years ago but has been altered over the years. It was refurbished internally in 2010. It’s surrounded by sheep-grazing hills and is the perfect location for those who love peace and tranquillity. At night-time it’s magical to gaze at the stars in the total darkness of the countryside. In the morning you will wake to birdsong and the sound of sheep bleating on the hills.
The house is located 4 miles from Glenties, in a Gaeltacht area. As you drive from the town wave to the drivers of the other cars and the people you meet on the road. They will wave back and wonder who you are and where you’re going….
